stockee is a financial education platform. We take publicly available stock data and explain it in plain English so that people without a finance background can understand what they're looking at.

stockee is not a brokerage. We don't execute trades. We don't manage money. We don't give investment advice. Nothing on this platform — including AI-generated summaries, metric explanations, signals, or verdicts — should be interpreted as a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any security.

The data we display comes from third-party providers and is updated nightly. It reflects end-of-day market data, not real-time prices. Always verify current prices and information with your brokerage before making any financial decision.

You need an account to save watchlists, track a portfolio, and receive alerts. We use magic link authentication — no password required.

You are responsible for keeping your email account secure. If you believe your stockee account has been compromised, contact us immediately.

You must be 18 or older to use stockee.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or misuse the platform.

Free plan: Available to anyone who creates an account. Includes ticker lookups, plain-English explanations, up to 5 portfolio stocks, and daily movement alerts.

Pro plan: $9/month or $79/year, billed through Stripe. Includes everything in Free plus unlimited portfolio tracking, Plaid brokerage sync, weekly and monthly AI summaries, unlimited alerts, and email digests.

Billing: Pro subscriptions renew automatically. You can cancel anytime from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you keep Pro access until then.

Refunds: We offer a full refund within 7 days of your first Pro charge if you are not satisfied. Contact us at support@stockee.co to request one. Subsequent billing periods are non-refundable.

We may change pricing with 30 days notice to active subscribers.

Pro users can optionally connect a brokerage account through Plaid, a third-party service that securely links financial accounts.

We only request read-only access to your holdings — the list of stocks you own and how many shares. We do not access your account balance, transaction history, login credentials, or any ability to move money.

Plaid's own terms of service and privacy policy apply to the connection process. You can disconnect your brokerage from stockee at any time in your account settings.

Brokerage connections are optional. You can use all portfolio features by adding tickers manually.

Some explanations, summaries, and narratives on stockee are generated by AI (Google Gemini). These are designed to help you understand financial data — not to tell you what to do with it.

AI-generated content can be wrong. It can misinterpret data, miss context, or produce inaccurate summaries. We review and tune the system regularly but we cannot guarantee accuracy.

Never rely on AI-generated summaries as the basis for a financial decision. They are educational starting points, not conclusions.

Stock data on stockee is sourced from Financial Modeling Prep (FMP) and updated nightly. Prices reflect the previous market day's close — not live prices.

We make reasonable efforts to display accurate data but we cannot guarantee it is error-free, complete, or current. Data may be delayed, missing, or incorrect for some tickers.

Always verify financial data with your brokerage or a real-time data source before making any investment decision.

You agree not to:

• Scrape, copy, or redistribute data from stockee for commercial purposes
• Attempt to reverse engineer, hack, or interfere with the platform
• Use the platform to spread financial misinformation
• Share account access with others
• Use automated tools to access the platform at scale

stockee is provided as-is. We are not liable for any financial losses, missed opportunities, or decisions made based on information displayed on this platform.

Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim, or $10, whichever is greater.

Some jurisdictions do not allow limitation of liability — if that applies to you, this section may not apply.

We may update these terms from time to time. If the changes are significant, we will notify active users by email before they take effect. Continued use of stockee after changes means you accept the updated terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction.
